Is this course open to any military career field? Yes. If your job requires the ability to engage the enemy then this course is for you.
What is the difference between TDOC and other drone courses? We teach tactical flying and focus on the skills needed to engage the enemy.
Do I need to have any previous drone experience to take this course? No.
How big is the drone and how much does it weigh? It fits in a gas mask-sized pouch and weighs less than 5 lbs., with grenade attached.
How long does it take to arm and fly the drone? After initial training, and starting with the drone in a pouch, most personnel can arm, deploy, launch, and kill a target within 1,000 meters in about two minutes.
